Once again, St. Matthew’s Sunday School is sponsoring our annual Back-to-School Drive. The purpose of this project is to show God’s love to the children served by the Wesley Golden Gate Community Center and UMOM. All supplies will be taken to Wesley and to UMOM for distribution before the beginning of the new school year.  Boxes will be placed in the narthex for your donations.
All supplies must be brought to St. Matthew on or before Sunday, July 12.
Supplies Needed:
Backpacks (Critical Need), Binders (1″, 3-ring), Calculators, 24-count Crayola crayons, Crayola markers, erasers, folders, glue sticks, pencils, pencil cases, pencil erasers, pocket folders, 12″ rulers, scissors, wide-lined notebook paper.
Also needed:
children’s books for home libraries, gently used clothing, hygiene items (such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, deodorant, soap, shampoo, etc.), NON-perishable food items, socks and underwear for ages 5 – 15 (all sizes).
Your support means so much to these children, especially this year, as many school districts have reduced funding for school supplies. Children will begin the new school year with renewed hope and new school materials thanks to your love and care.
You are God’s eyes, ears, hands and feet.
Thank you for your support and participation.
