St. Matthew offers many opportunities for adults to learn, to serve, to build friendships, and to praise God. Actually, most of our groups and activities do all of those things. Come check us out—we hope you will find a place with us!
We have several ongoing Bible studies and other classes to aid in Christian and personal growth. If you are interested in attending any of these studies, or in leading one yourself, feel free to show up anytime or contact the pastor at (480) 838-7309.
The Walk to Emmaus program is a leadership and spiritual growth retreat sponsored by The Upper Room. Many people in the St. Matthew family have attended the Walk to Emmaus, and we would be happy to help you sign up for a Walk or to share experiences with you.
We have numerous avenues for service, both within the church and in the community. Extra hands are always welcome!
Our United Methodist Women and United Methodist Men groups also provide service and mission opportunities as well as spiritual and educational programs. All adults are welcome to attend.
