Adult Prayer and Study Opportunities. Let’s get reacquainted with our brothers and sisters in Christ as we journey together, faithful disciples of our Lord at St. Matthew UMC. Childcare provided as needed for all study groups-- please call Pastor Eric to arrange.
- The Searchers Class – The Searchers and Disciples Sunday School Classes have combined. They now meet in B11 at 9am and are studying The Thirteen Apostles" by J. Ellsworth Kalas. A 7 week Lenten study, using the book "Unbinding Your Heart" began February 21.
Disciple Bible Studies-32 sessions. Cost $40. Disciple classes are offered on Monday evenings at 7pm in Building B.
- Disciple I - Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study - An overview of the Old and New Testaments. Facilitator: Karen Forrester.
- Disciple II - Into the Word - Into the World - In depth study of Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts. Facilitator: Warren Enyart.
- Disciple III - Remember Who You Are - In depth study of the Old Testament Prophets and the Letters of Paul. First Session Facilitator: Iain Glithero; Second Session Facilitator: Joyce Helm.
Prayer and Study Opportunities
- Men’s Breakfast and Study Group meeting each Thursday at 6:30 am at Coco’s is now studying Peter using the book "The Letters of James and Peter" by William Barclay.
- Women’s Thursday 6AM Prayer and Study Group meets Thursdays from 6am to 7:15am in Room D23-24 and is using the book "Unbinding Our Heart."
- Pastor’s Study Group meets Thursdays at 9:30am in room D23-24. This group learns the background and reflects upon the scripture passages for each week's morning services.
